The Town of Davie is home to over 80,000 residents who live across a 34 square miles within central Broward. The Town of Davie is also the acme of higher education in South Florida where several nationally known colleges, technical institutes, and universities make up the South Florida Educational Center. Davie is a one-of-a-kind town in Broward County, Florida, which is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Everglades and Seminole reservation to the west, Palm Beach County to the north, and Miami-Dade to the south. You immediately feel the Davie's unmistakable atmosphere in South Florida, because you might think you've taken a wrong turn and ended up in the old West.

This voter-approved idea protects wide expanses of green, which assures pathways connecting parks and nature preserves, to help let residents stay touch with nature. The occasional citrus grove can still be found, though many of those still standing are sorely overgrown.
